  • Diploma in Advanced Studies in Modern Literature from Paris Nanterre University in 1989;
  • Bachelor in French Literature from the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences at the Lebanese University in 1986.

Professional Career

  • Director of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 1) at the Lebanese University between 2018 and 2021;
  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 1) at the Lebanese University in 1994 and Assistant Professor in the Center for Languages & Translation between 1998 and 2004;
  • Coordinator in the International Relations Committee at the Lebanese University since 2019;
  • Coordinator in the Office of Language Coordination at the Lebanese University between 2011 and 2013;
  • Member of the Scientific Council at the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences between 2015 and 2018;
  • Member of the Committee for the Study of Projects in French Literature - Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences between 2012 and 2017;
  • Member of the Central Authority for Quality, Planning and Accreditation at the Lebanese University between 2012 and 2017;
  • Member of the Scientific Committee of the Arab Scientific Conference "Human Sciences & Reconstruction of National Culture", Beirut, Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences in 2019;
  • Key member in a number of literary and scientific conference committees on children of war, battles of culture and language dynamics;
